Testing is necessary for any properly functioning institution to obtain information needed
for the evaluation purposes. It is a best way to judge the capabilities of individuals and a
motivation for reaching new goals. It is significant to determine the student grades, placement of
candidates, setting learning goals, designing specialized instructions and monitoring progress.
There are different types of tests but the purpose of each test highlights the need to develop an
effective test according to the quality standards. There are varied measures of test quality
including development of student learning outcomes (SLO’s), table of specification and test
items; psychometrics, scoring and grading of tests. This two days conference will provide an
insight into different types of test, test development, psychometrics, scoring and grading system
with reference to STEM education. Furthermore a poster competition will help participants to
portray their relevant ideas/work on larger scale.
Purpose of the conference
This conference aims to share best practices, and explore the emerging trends and possibilities in
assessment and evaluation methodologies, ultimately shaping the future of education with
reference to online and STEM education. The purpose of this conference is to provide a unique
platform to showcase the innovative work, share research findings, and exchange ideas with a
diverse community of professionals. It will offer participants a chance to network, stay up to date
in the field of STEM, enhance professional skills to combat the demand of assessment agencies
and broad their vision towards research implication. Resultantly, sharing of success stories and
challenges will benefit transition towards STEM education at school, tertiary and university
education.
