Testing is necessary for any properly functioning institution to obtain information needed for the evaluation purposes. It is a best way to judge the capabilities of individuals and a motivation for reaching new goals. It is significant to determine the student grades, placement of candidates, setting learning goals, designing specialized instructions and monitoring progress. There are different types of tests but the purpose of each test highlights the need to develop an effective test according to the quality standards. There are varied measures of test quality including development of student learning outcomes (SLO’s), table of specification and test items; psychometrics, scoring and grading of tests. This two days conference will provide an insight into different types of test, test development, psychometrics, scoring and grading system with reference to STEM education. Furthermore a poster competition will help participants to portray their relevant ideas/work on larger scale.
