1st international conference on
Bioinformatics and Computational Methods in Post Genomic Era
November 09 & 10, 2021
International Conference on Bioinformatics and Computational Methods in Post Genomic Era aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of computational methods for genomics. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, educators, biotechnologists, pharmacists, botanists, zoologists, entomologists, and IT professionals who are actively engaged in this field to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of genomics.
Virtual university of Pakistan (VUP) being the first leading distant learning university provides complete virtual education by using internet and free-to-air satellite television broadcasts to students irrespective of their geographic location. University provides a complete student-teacher interaction and support through the LMS (Learning Management System). Keeping in view the available stat of the art infrastructure at VUP, Department of Biology and Department of Bioinformatics & Computational Biology has come up with an idea of holding an online conference on Zoology and related disciplines. VUP has already arranged some of the successful and hassle-free online conferences with minimum or negligible expenditure. This conference will provide a useful forum for participants to exchange their ideas and research experiences on computational methods for genomics and the related domains. Participants of this conference will have an opportunity for developing and renewing social as well as scientific networks that may lead to extended collaboration in research among individuals and institutions.
Aims and Objectives
The conference is geared towards Computing and Life Science researchers who are interested in exploring new areas of Bioinformatics and want to enhance their experience in the field. The overall aims of the conference are:
-
To learn about the recent advancements in the field of Bioinformatics.
-
To have exposure of the modern tools being used in the field.
-
To interact with the experts in the field from both leading national and international avenues.
-
To give the young researchers opportunity to disseminate their own research findings through oral presentations, posters and abstracts.
