Following the success of our previous boot camps, the Professional Development Center (PDC) at the Virtual University of Pakistan (VU) is excited to announce the Summer STEM Boot Camp 2025. This hands-on training will offer children the opportunity to engage in STEM activities, spark curiosity, and build foundational skills that contribute towards shaping them into future innovators.
The Summer Boot Camp will focus on Arduino Programming & Robotics, Mobile App Development using MIT App Inventor, Mathematics for Kids, Communication Skills, and Life Sciences Wonder.
Objective:
- Introduce school students to practical STEM applications.
- Enhance problem-solving, logical reasoning, and creativity through hands-on activities.
- Develop soft skills, including communication and teamwork, alongside technical expertise.
Program Overview:
- Total Duration: 4 weeks
- Session Duration: 3 hours per day
- No. of Days Per Week: 5 days (15 hours)
- Batch Size: Limited to 30 students.
Methodology:
- On-campus training at VU Davis Road Campus Lahore and VU Islamabad Campus.
- Hands-on project-based learning approach.
- Instructor-led interactive sessions with practical demonstrations.
Who should attend:
- This training is ideal for ages 10 – 13 years.

University's Right to Cancel/Postpone:
The University reserves the right to cancel/postpone an event due to a range of valid reasons, including but not limited to:
- Unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or emergencies.
- Low participant turnout that could impact the event's effectiveness.
- Unavailability of essential resources or facilities.
All participants will be informed about the postponement of the event well before time.
Refunds and Credits:
If an event is canceled by the University, participants who have already paid registration fees will be eligible for a full refund.
Credit card service fee will be deducted as per banking regulations.
In case of postponement, the University might offer participants the option to transfer their registration fees to a rescheduled event.
