Introduction:
To promote digital literacy and equip young learners with practical technology skills, it is proposed to organize a 3-Day Summer Bootcamp at two campuses of Virtual University. The bootcamp will provide hands-on training in emerging technology domains through interactive learning activities conducted by experienced faculty members.
The bootcamp will be organized simultaneously at the following venues:
- Game Development Bootcamp: VLHR04 Virtual University Raiwind Road Campus, Lahore.
- Front-End Web Development Bootcamp: VIBD01 Virtual University G-10 Markaz Campus, Islamabad..
The proposed bootcamp will be conducted from 21 July to 23 July, in an engaging and practical learning environment designed specifically for school-age children
Objective:
- Introduce children to modern computing technologies through practical learning.
- Develop creativity, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Provide hands-on experience in game development and front-end web development.
- Encourage interest in computer science and programming from an early age.
- Promote Virtual University as a center for quality technology education and community engagement.

Trainer Profiles:
Muhammad Faisal Saleem:
The trainer for this workshop will be Mr. Muhammad Faisal Saleem. Mr. Faisal has done BS Electrical Engineering from COMSATS Lahore. He has extensive experience in industry and academia. He has worked as Back-end Engineer in ZTE Pakistan. He has also implemented different pilot project at Tetra Pak while working in LUMS. He is now working as Trainer at Virtual University of Pakistan, where he gives training on Programming and Networking.
Muhammad Amjad Iqbal:
Mr Muhammad Amjad Iqbal is a software development professional with experience as a Web Development Manager, Senior Programmer, and Database and Software Engineer across local and multinational firms. Their expertise spans browser-based application development (Laravel, Yii2, Strapi, JavaScript, React, WordPress, Drupal, PHP, MySQL) and database programming across both SQL and NoSQL platforms, with particular interest in Ecommerce and Data Science. [Name] currently serves as a tutor and instructor at Virtual University, bringing direct industry experience into a teaching context.
Training Mode/Methodology:
The bootcamp will follow an instructor-led, hands-on approach consisting of:

- Children aged 10–15 years

- No prior programming experience is required.
