The Professional Development Center (PDC) at the Virtual University of Pakistan (VU) is pleased to propose a one-month, hands-on training program designed to equip participants with essential graphic designing skills and freelancing techniques. The training will focus on practical learning using industry-standard tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva, along with guidance on navigating freelancing platforms.


Objective:

  • Portfolio Review and Feedback: Participants will receive personalized feedback on their design work, guidance on building their portfolio and on setting up of freelancing accounts.

University's Right to Cancel/Postpone:

The University reserves the right to cancel/postpone an event due to a range of valid reasons, including but not limited to:

  • Unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or emergencies.
  • Low participant turnout that could impact the event's effectiveness.
  • Unavailability of essential resources or facilities.

All participants will be informed about the postponement of the event well before time.


Refunds and Credits:

If an event is canceled by the University, participants who have already paid registration fees will be eligible for a full refund.

Credit card service fee will be deducted as per banking regulations.

In case of postponement, the University might offer participants the option to transfer their registration fees to a rescheduled event.
