The world has faced one of the greatest pandemics of the century COVID19 that has affected the lives and lifestyles of people significantly. This pandemic has raised serious concerns regarding the community life, community response on disease and associated SOPs, social care and public health policies for the wellbeing of society. Policy decisions of the government are of vital importance in this regard. It is very important to raise scholarly debate on the mentioned areas and challenges and, to find out how people as part of communities can deal with it. Thus, the purpose of this webinar “Public Health Policies and Community response towards Covid19” is to enlighten the scholars and youth regarding these challenges and responsibilities from the platform of the Department of Sociology of Virtual University of Pakistan.
