International Symposium on
Camel as the Best Suited Animal under Changing Climate

The Department of Molecular Biology, Virtual University of Pakistan hosted an International Symposium on “Camel as the Best Suited Animal under Changing Climate” on the eve of WORLD CAMEL DAY on Tuesday, 22nd June 2021 in collaboration with;

• International Society of Camelid Research and Development (ISOCARD)
• Saudi Geographical Society, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (SGS)
• Camel Associate of Pakistan (CAP)
• Pakistan Camel Club

Camel is a unique animal that has been an important source of food, wool, leather, and transport since ancient times. Its ability to sustain in extremely harsh environments has increased its importance as a best-fit species under the current threats of global climate change being faced by many countries of the world. With this theme, we have organized this event and look forward to your participation to learn more about this Animal of Future.
